Auribus/Auri (ah-rhi-bus/ah-ree) - female (she/her) - Snow spirit - approx. 2500 years old (25 human years)

Personality

Auribus is a shy and timid soul. Although emotional, she keeps much to herself and often bottles up her emotions, often venturing out alone to be able to quietly cry off her troubles. She is very insecure about her appearance and how others perceive her. She is a coward when it comes to fighting for herself, but would do everything in her power to protect the life of another. Even when she is happy, she often bears a worried look.


Biography

The only daughter of parents Aurora and Artemis, Auri has always been perceived by them as a disappointment and embarrassment, due to being born without any fur and having such a malnourished look. She has a very rough relationship with her father who wishes she had never been born. Aurora's relationship with Auribus has always been one of misunderstanding, often arguing about how her mother will never understand what it's like to be the "ugly one" whilst being the daughter of one of the most beautiful Snow Spirits around.
However, despite knowing her flaws, Auribus hopes to one day redeem herself and prove her father wrong.

Misc

Auribus means "listen" in Latin. Auri enjoys solitude and silence. She finds solace in nature and long walks. She loves nothing more than wrapping up in a thick fur coat and exploring the tundra around her. She often dreams about how much better her life would have been had she been born with fur or maybe not have been born at all.
